The Togolese Republic is located in West Africa, bordered by the Gulf of Guinea, Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Benin. With an area of 56,785 square kilometers (21,925 square miles) it is slightly smaller than West Virginia. The weather in southern Togo is tropical & humid for most of the year.
Out of 44 tribal languages in Togo, the two primary languages are Ewe and Kabyé. French is the official national language used throughout the country in official business and teaching. Togo’s world economic rank: 219 out of 227 countries with a average annual income: $830.
