Honoré and Kim Afolabi are fulltime missionaries with ABWE. They work to facilitate church planting by working alongside nationals, ministering to families and evangelizing the lost. Honoré is responsible for the leadership training team. Learn more on their website
Joseph and Francisca Akakpo joined ABWE as Global Access Partners in 2012 after returning to their native Togo from being missionaries in Cameroon. They now work with local churches promoting youth and family ministries. Pastor Joseph leads youth and parent conferences throughout Togo.
Hannah Stump Ayena has a passion for the Christian Schools, training and encouraging teachers. Working through FIM (Fellowship International Mission), she reaches out to students at La Lumière Primary and Middle school.
Judy Bowen is the director of literature and audio visual distribution, the goal of which is to distribute Bibles, Christian literature, and media at affordable prices in French and local languages to the people of West Africa. Russ and Melody Ebersole invest their lives in the ministry of Hôpital Baptiste Biblique. Russ spends his time at the Hospital as a Pediatrician. Melody gives of herself to hope-hungry patients who need to hear the Gospel.
Michael and Cheryl Gayle are pouring their lives into the ministry in Togo through ABWE. Michael works at Hospital Baptiste Biblique as a Family Physician, Medical Director, & Teacher. Cheryl keeps order in their house and also helps as the field treasurer, helps with the Guest House finances, and in the Christian Resource Center.

Jane Schmitz has a heart and passion for reaching unreached people groups. Having served in Togo in the past through evangelism, medical missions, church planting and women’s ministries, God has recently led her back to continue the task of bringing the gospel to those who haven’t heard. John and Betty Teusink arrived in Togo in 1991. They work diligently to maintain excellent standards of hospitality and maintenance at Hôpital Baptiste Biblique. John works with his team of Togolese workers to spread the reach of the gospel through building and maintaining hospital structures, school buildings, and guest and missionary houses. Betty coordinates hospitality for the guest house, incoming medical personnel, and team functions.
