Ever since ABWE missionaries first arrived in Togo in 1974 there has been a desire to multiply healthy churches that would in turn plant more churches in unreached communities.  The Togo South Team works to help local churches accomplish their goals of evangelism and outreach.  Missionaries and national pastors partner together to purchase new land for churches, train national leaders and promote Christian education. The ABWE churches are joined under the “Association des Église Baptistes Bibliques du Togo” or “ASEBTO.”

The Togo South Team works to intentionally to disciple believers through the Bible Institute, the Bible Translation and Literacy program, and Women’s ministries.
