Hôpital Baptiste Biblique or Karolyn Kempton Memorial Christian Hospital is a 40 bed full service hospital which opened in 1985. Annually, Hôpital Baptiste Biblique provides care to over 2,200 inpatients, including around 1,500 surgical cases. The hospital averages 600 deliveries per year. The hospital also runs a Nurse Training Program. The Mobile Health Clinic and Community Health Evangelism ministries are outreaches of Hôpital Baptiste Biblique. The hospital is staffed by missionary medical personnel and trained Togolese employees. In addition to ABWE missionaries, short-term personnel are welcome and many have come through the Samaritan’s Purse World Medical Mission program. The sole purpose of HBB is to use medicine to reach into people’s lives with the Good News of the saving power of Jesus Christ.
